Today I listened to presentations of different groups are there particular fields. Most groups spoke of Machine Learning and Deep Learning Neural Networks. Neural Networks mimic the actual functions of the brain and able the computer to "think". The cognitive ability of a computer would creates vast technological opportunities; it could create more interactive apps and filter data sets.

Creating an In Depth Gantt Chart

In order to remain proactive in my project, my gantt chart needs to be more in depth. At this point I have very basic understandings of circuits, electrovibration, and electricity. In order to give my project direction my contemporary research into the field needs to be very concise because without knowledge of recent developments, the scope of my contribution to the field will be altered. I need to be more specific in daily tasks within my gantt chart. I also realize that I will have to allot more time to understanding circuits; I need to understand the basic components of a circuit before I can begin to create one.

Literature Survey Feedback

1. Continue research on contemporary developments in creating a 2D tactile display based on electrovibration. In continuing research and learning of any new developments this will affect my next step on whether or not I should pursue creating multiple pixels to detect patterns.
2. Considering my little knowledge of electronics I have to allot time for reverse engineering circuits made by the past groups. I need to overcome the learning curve in understanding the purpose and process of making signal amplification circuits. 
3. Depending on my ability to understand and create circuits, as well as research of recent developments, the next step would be actually testing if multiple pixels are able to detect patterns.
4. Depending on these results the goal is to eventually be able to display typically visually dependent topics through electrovibration.
